Pornography in Paris

For a feel good Sunday night, we all like to relax on a Sunday but how about we take charge of those looming Moanday sorry I mean Monday blues with this feel good track from Caravan Palace.

The band met in 2005 after being hired to soundtrack a pornographic movie but it was a couple of years and a MySpace advert that really bought the group together, beefing up the trio to a symmetrical 6 piece. With help from Loïc Barrouk, the band put together an album in 2008 and it might just kick start your week.

Not just a remix a reinvention.

In my opinion all the best remixes are the ones that stir up opposite emotions to the original song. Some just add depth, some add a different element, some a different dimension. To me though, the best are the ones that are almost unrecognisable, and for me this could not have been more perfectly portrayed by Lucy Rose and her Middle of the Bed EP. Three additional tracks completely reinvent the almost lullaby quality of the original folk song. Produced by Charli Hugall (Florence & The Machine, Jack Peñate, Crystal Fighters), and released through Fauna Records. The quirky remixes do not take away from the simplest beauty of the origin by over producing it were as keep things bare
