Two Great New Tracks from Vampire Weekend

Whilst listening to the radio the other morning I thought to myself, this really sounds like Vampire Weekend. It's a great track though so I can't be harsh on them for sounding like the great V.Ws. Of course, I later discovered it was the fella's new track Diane Young from their new album Modern Vampires of the City. The album is out on 13th of May and it was recently announced they will be performing at this year's Glastonbury Festival too- yes!

Here are the supporting videos for their double A-Side Single Diane Young and Step. I only heard Step for the first time today; I LOVE IT.

Here's another track I cannot STOP playing. The video isn't half bad either. Yet another amazing track from the 'Friends Will Carry You Home Too' compilation, which was released via Catz N' Dogz 'Pets Recordings' yesterday.

'Zombie Christmas' Emmy The Great and Tim Wheeler

It was last year that Emmy the Great (Emma Lee Moss) and Tim Wheeler (him from Ash) released their Christmas album 'This is Christmas'. After two successful shows in London last December they are back this festive season to take their Christmas cheer to Glasgow's Oran Moor, Manchester's Deaf Institute, and London's Scala. 

Thankfully they've also given us the gift of a music video for the excellent track 'Zombie Christmas'! Directed by Luke Snellin the video sees a group of Christmas jumper clad crusaders fighting back against Christmas zombies.

The Christmas shows are the 17th, 19th and 20th, get 'em while you can... 'Rumpumpumpum Motherfucker!'
