This is quite nice. Very Joe Goddardy, but that's why I like it. Nice and chilled, have a listen.

I haven't come across much enjoyable new music recently, however here's a couple remixes of Jessie Ware's "Night Light" track that both caught my attention. The first, which was released yesterday, is from UK indie rock band Wild Beats, and the second, is a slight more upbeat higher tempo remix from the brilliant Joe Goddard. Check these little beauts out below.

I've always been a massive fan of all things Hot Chip; Joe Goddard is an electro-house legend, Alexis Taylor's delicate, frail voice contrasts perfectly with their deep synthy electronic sounds, but most of all I love the bands insistance on keeping their music "live". Many people are saying their latest LP, In Our Heads, is their best yet. Well, if it even comes close to the quality of One Life Stand it will be an awesome record. You can stream the whole thing here. Enjoy.
In Our Heads is released on the 11th of June via Domino.

Check out this awesome video for Joe Goddards latest single “Gabriel”, taken from his recently released EP of the same name.
I’ve been listening to “Gabriel” endlessly for a couple of weeks, so it’s nice to finally get some great visuals for this brilliant track. Although a fairly simple concept, it has been done to an excellent standard, working really well the audio. This sort of stuff makes great visuals for a VJ!
I’m loving this guys solo stuff, but I want more! Buy the track on DFA Records.

Given the recent flurry of dance music posts we have been writing, it's seems somewhat appropriate to squeeze this nice little number in from Hot Chip's Joe Goddard. While his band mate Alexis Taylor is taking music in a completely different direction with his improvised-soul side project About Group (who impressively recorded their album in one day at Abbey Road Studio), here we see Goddard staying true to his house roots. Any Hot Chip fan will be able to appreciate this one. This is out on the 8th on Greco Roman.
