Com Truise is by far one of my favourite discoveries in recent years. I don't think I've heard anything from the New Jersey producer that I haven't fallen in love with - which is why I'm incredibly excited his next release, In Decay, is out TOMORROW! Although it's a compilation of old unreleased material, it's still new to me and so far it's sounding superb. Check out the opening track "Open" below (which you can also download for free).
In Decay provides a fascinating alternative routemap for the idiosyncratic journeys of New Jersey producer Seth Haley — aka Com Truise — through the history of electronic music. A compilation of unreleased, early recordings, In Decay encompasses 13 tracks that have previously been either only available as demos online or are entirely unheard tracks dating from before Haley's official releases — his debut Cyanide Sisters EP, its follow-up full-length Galactic Melt, and last year's Fairlight EP
Check out more info about the release here.

The fine people at Ghostly posted this epic playlist a few days ago. It features tracks from Shigeto, Tycho, Matthew Dear, Com Truise, Jacaszek, Mux Mool, Gold Panda HTRK and remixes by Nicolas Jaar, Star Slinger, Teen Daze and King Midas Sound.
If you don't have the Ghostly iPhone app yet, I strongly recommend you download it. It automatically generates a playlist for you depending on your mood and desired listening tempo.

Com Truise has just released a video for his track "Broken Date", one of my favourite tracks from his recent LP. It's great to finally see some visuals to his synth-filled 80's nostalgia.
The retro-futuristic Tron-esque imagery really compliments the track, bringing the audio to life. This guy really knows his way around a synthesiser, producing sounds like no other artist I've heard in recent times - making his sound instantly recognisable.
"Broken Date" is from Com Truise's debut LP Glactic Melt, which is available now on Ghostly International - if you haven't already heard it, listen to it right now - I couldn't recommend it highly enough! It's an actual work of art.

Just saw over on the Transgressive site that there are a few teaser videos for Neon Indian's forthcoming LP, Era Extrana, scheduled for release on October 10th. Recorded in Helsinki in the winter of 2010, the album is said to possess a darker sound to Psychic Chasms - his dreamy, psychedelic debut.
If you are lucky enough to live in the US, you can see him on tour with Com Truise when the album is released. Check out the dates here.
Below is a track from his 2009 debut, Psychic Chasms.
