Bonobo - Black Sands Remixed

I'm mega excited to discover that Bonobo is to release Black Sands Remixed next month, a compilation of mostly unheard remixes from his critically acclaimed album, which was released in back in 2010. It's going to be interesting to hear the album in a whole new light - although I don't expect it to be anywhere near as good as the original.

Black Sands Remixed is set to be released February 13th on Ninja Tune. Check out a couple of tracks from the album here.

Black Sands came out in 2010 to almost universal critical acclaim and worldwide commercial success. Si Green aka Bonobo moved from being an underground producer of impeccable credentials to a poster boy for a new take on electronic music – contemporary and edgy but also soulful, song-based, sometimes lush but always emotional.

Black Sands Remixed gathers together a group of like-minded musicians and producers to interpret this classic album.
